Amanda Snyder

Community Project Manager - Central Ohio

Amanda Snyder, a certified healthcare technology specialist (CHTS), joined the Ohio Health Information Partnership in May 2018 as a Community Project Manager. She began her career coordinating paper medical records at a large, multi-specialty clinic and is now responsible for assisting physicians and practices in Central Ohio to electronically connect to the CliniSync Health Information Exchange.

Through her multiple roles in ambulatory practices, including EMR implementation support and management, medical office management, and direct patient care, Amanda has gained comprehensive experience in Health Information Technology. She held the role of lead technician and surgical assistant at The Ohio State University Medical Center in the Neuro-Ophthalmology and Orbital Plastics division, where she supported ocular plastics procedures and served as a liaison between IT and the clinic. Most recently, Amanda worked as an EpicCare Ambulatory Senior System Analyst to oversee the onsite implementation staff through curriculum development and training.

Amanda boasts three EpicCare Certifications in Ambulatory, Home Health, and Hospice. She was also recently selected as the project lead for Information Governance on the Board of Directors for the Ohio Health Information Management Association.

Amanda has spent her whole career in the healthcare industry but working at the Ohio Health Information Partnership provides her with a unique experience. She says, “I’m excited to be part of the team that is changing the landscape of healthcare data and its implementation to improve patient health across the entire continuum of care.”
